RAPID Innovation
To shape the RAPID-Health program well, Taiwan Globalization Network-TGN has started cooperation with the several Dutch partners, such as Economic Board Utrecht (EBU), to design the ‘regional accelerator program for innovation and development’ (RAPID), to support Taiwanese startups and scale-ups. Many Taiwanese companies have already found their ways to the European market because of this relationship, with great success. In addition to good cooperation, Taiwan is full of promising innovations in the area of Health, which makes the chances for the European market realistic.
The Ministry of Science & Technology (MOST) in Taiwan, recognized the RAPID-Health program as a good starting point to send Taiwanese qualified startups to Europe, following their Vision Program for international cooperation which they have done with Silicon Valley and Singapore.
From 2019, RAPID-Health Programs provided a place for a couple of Taiwanese startups to get to know the market and to find a possible entry to establish their businesses in Europe.
From 2020, RAPID-Health Programs will offer ‘2-week advanced’ programs, in addition to ‘1-month market access’ programs. All international startups and scale-ups are welcome.​

Regional Accelerator Program Innovation & Development for health​
Utrecht Region believes it’s important to introduce innovative international companies with a focus on Healthy Urban Living to their Ecosystem. In order to facilitate this acquaintance well, supported by the Economic Board Utrecht (EBU), Taiwan Globalization Network-TGN is able to start with the Regional Accelerator Program Innovation & Development for Health (RAPID-Health). The program is the driving force for international companies to get familiar with the European market and to further develop their own businesses here. In this way, RAPID-Health supports international companies to significantly increase their opportunities in Europe. This makes the gateway to Europe even more accessible.
